Finding even myself wondering "How do I decorate my outdoor space???". After a long year of no guests and not caring how anything looked, it's time to up the ante. BUT, on a reasonable budget...because you know I love a good budget project! Target and Amazon are my happy places so let's jump in.
STEP 1: Start fresh. We always recommend clearing and cleaning out the space you are redecorating and starting with a blank or neutral canvas free from old accessories and decor.
STEP 2: Go for natural tones with a few pops of natural vibrant colors. We chose navy, black, tan and a lush green!
STEP 3: Keep it simple. Don't overdo it with lot's of stuff. Pick a few good quality items and make a statement with those!
STEP 4: Size and scale is key. If going for planters, make sure they are large enough to sit next to a chair or sofa without looking too tiny.
STEP 5: Think of the use of the space. Are you actually going to use the item you are purchasing? Go for purposeful items that will add to the functionality of the space as well as the aesthetics!
STEP 6: HAVE FUN. It's been a long year...years. Buy yourself the dang pillow, and have a great summer. We all could use some fun this year!
