A Fine Artist and Art Teacher living in Dayton, Ohio- Carlee Bollin spends much of her time immersed in the arts. Growing up, Carlee liked taking on various creative projects, from sewing to drawing with sidewalk chalk. She did not become interested in pursuing art as a career until high school, where she discovered her passion for painting. From there, she attended Bowling Green State University to major in Art Education and Fine Art. Yearning for more studio time, she went on to continue her education at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, where she was awarded a teaching assistantship and full tuition waiver as she achieved her Masters in Fine Art.
Since graduating, Carlee has continued her artistic journey, maintaining a regular studio practice and creating several bodies of work that she is working to showcase both locally and nationally. Recently, her work was featured in an exclusive duo exhibition at the S&E Design Studio in Toledo, Ohio.
